Louisiana District Court Collaborates with Immediation for Enhanced Case Intake Management

July 13, 2023

MELBOURNE, Australia and WOODLAND HILLS, Calif.– July 10, 2023 – Immediation, a fully configurable, online dispute resolution (ODR) platform, today announced that it has partnered with the Domestic Hearing Office of a Louisiana court to custom configure a digital intake function. The enhanced solution will enable greater overall efficiency and reduce the time spent on administrative work.

Currently the Court’s Domestic Hearing Office uses a paper questionnaire and manual process completed by working with all parties involved. The questionnaire is submitted to and reviewed by the Judge and filed with a manual signature. Immediation’s custom-configured solution digitizes this intake process for judges, court administrators, and all other parties involved.

The District Court is taking a significant step to streamline operations in order to process a greater volume of cases.
“In keeping with our ethos, we designed the intake function to optimize the Court’s existing systems–not to create new ones,” said Nick Foster, Chief Product Officer at Immediation. “This function lowers barriers to adoption, enhances user efficiency and improves the overall experience for court staff, attorneys, judges, and parties in court. Every court we connect with seeks greater efficiency, lower admin time and reduced costs – our goal is to deliver these outcomes by digitizing their current processes.”
The collaboration represents the third custom court configuration from Immediation this year. The company’s Family Triage Solution is in use at The Johnson County District Court in Olathe, Kansas, and its Call-Over Solution is currently used in Louisiana and under review in Georgia Courts.
