About us
We believe simplifying key aspects of the alternative dispute resolution process can provide practitioners with the tools to resolve conflicts more effectively. While the court system is essential in certain situations, many disputes can and should be resolved outside of it, saving both time and money, as well as reducing emotional stress. Whether it’s a custody battle, a rental dispute with your landlord, or a commercial cross-border trade dispute between companies, we can provide the tools to make a meaningful difference. We’ve all experienced, or know someone who has faced, the challenges of navigating the daunting court system—and we want to change that. The more we can resolve disputes outside of court, the better. Let’s make Dispute Resolution Simple.
Our Story
Originally launched in 2017, Immediation began as an online dispute resolution platform with a direct-to-consumer approach. Since then, it has evolved into a comprehensive case management solution for Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) professionals. With tools for mediation, arbitration, adjudication, and even automated negotiation, we cover all aspects of dispute resolution. Immediation also collaborates with accrediting bodies to provide top-tier resources to new practitioners while ensuring we remain at the forefront of industry best practices and solutions.
Immediation is dedicated to building a robust ADR community by empowering practitioners to scale their practices efficiently, ensuring quicker access to resolution for more individuals. With the court system overwhelmed by a growing caseload, delays and rising costs are inevitable. Alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods like mediation and arbitration offer a solution by delivering faster, more affordable outcomes, enabling parties to resolve conflicts outside the courtroom and easing the pressure on the judicial system. Let us provide you with the tools to make a meaningful impact.

-
Do you (Immediation) provide mediators? Do you provide legal services?
Immediation is a technology company that provides a platform to facilitate end-to-end alternative dispute resolution. We help sole mediators, arbitration centres, and accrediting bodies. We do not directly provide legal services.
-

We are an Australian company headquartered in Perth, Australia, with global customers.
-
Who owns Immediation? What is ADR Technology Pty Ltd?
Immediation is a privately held company backed by private investors. We trade under the name ADR Technology Pty Ltd under the Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC).
-
Is Immediation only a video conferencing platform?
No, we began as a video conferencing platform over five years ago, and since then, our solution has grown into a comprehensive case management system for mediation, arbitration, and adjudication. Our clients vary widely, from individual mediators to arbitral tribunal centres and industry-specific educational programs. We’re flexible regarding video conferencing—you can use Zoom, MS Teams, Google Hangouts, or any other platform of your choice, not just our web conferencing tool.

Can you deliver prompt customer support despite being based in Australia?
Yes, we operate with a distributed team and can address customer support requests within the same day, often within the hour, even across US and European time zones. We can discuss and tailor our services for larger firms with specific support SLAs to meet your needs.

What happens if I exceed the allocated cases for my current subscription?
With the Professional Edition, you receive 2 cases per month, while the Team Edition allows for 20 cases monthly.
If you surpass these limits within a given month, each additional case will incur the following charges:
Edition Name AUD USD EUR GBP Professional $20.00 $17.00 €16.00 £12.00 Team $15.00 $12.00 €11.00 £9.00 We will charge for these additional cases at the end of the calendar quarter (March, June, September, and December). We’ll conduct a “true-up” and charge your credit card on file for any cases exceeding your subscription allocation. This is to make it easy for you as we don’t want to make it easy for you to open cases.
No need to worry—we won’t charge you for any “test” cases. Each quarter, we’ll provide a list of instances for you to review and reconcile. Charges will apply only to actual cases involving factual disputes.
-
Do my cases have an expiration date?
No, your cases won’t expire if you maintain an active subscription. This includes the cases in your subscription and any additional cases you purchased. If you choose to cancel, we’ll grant you a 14-day grace period for you to retrieve your case details. After that, your account access will be revoked.
Your account will remain dormant for six months, allowing you to reactivate your subscription and regain access to your data. Alternatively, you can request that we permanently purge your information once you leave, making it irrecoverable.
-
I am not a big company, just a small firm, can I still use your solution?
Yes, absolutely. We offer a solution designed for all alternative dispute resolution practitioners. While many of our features are tailored for larger tribunal centres and adjudication schemes, you’re not required to use them. We also provide packages specifically designed for smaller businesses, and as your business grows, you can easily adopt additional features.
